Burkhardt Jones Productions is a Tony Award-Winning production company that was formed in 2021, by Kyle Burkhardt and Morgan Jones, to support underrepresented stories and artists on their journey to Broadway. Our goal is to increase diversity in theatre while concurrently identifying commercially viable opportunities for our investors.

To date, Burkhardt Jones Productions has produced or invested in eight shows including A Strange Loop (2022 Tony Award Winner for Best Musical) and Parade (2023 Tony Award Winner for Best Revival of a Musical). Other shows include Sweeney Todd (starring Josh Groban), The Piano Lesson (starring Samuel L. Jackson), and Suffs (coming to Broadway Spring of 2024).

Following a sold-out, extended run at The Public Theater, Shaina Taub's new musical Suffs will come to Broadway this spring! The musical boldly explores the victories and failures of a struggle for equality that is far from over. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai have joined the production team to tell this important story!

Sweeney Todd - NYT Critics Pick.jpg

Stephen Sondheim's classic musical, Sweeney Todd (1979 Tony Award: Best Musical), has returned to Broadway! Josh Groban (Tony Award Nominee) and Annaleigh Ashford (Tony Award Winner) star, while a large part of the Hamilton Creative Team (Alex Lacamoire, Thomas Kail, Jeffrey Seller) are involved.

Alice in Neverland  brings together the beloved title characters from “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and “Peter Pan.” The producing team includes Broadway heavyweights Jamie deRoy (seven-time Tony Award winner, “Beetlejuice"), Jerry Goehring (“Be More Chill"), and 42nd.club (“Moulin Rouge”, "Company", "The Lehman Trilogy").
